It's not bad although there are probably better things to watch out there; It is specially interesting if you look at it through a sociological perspective. Definitely worth a watch

well well well.....this was a good movie but like someone stated earlier i did have alot of unanswered questions... Also why after four days was the guy tryna raped the guy in the butt i mean come on dude!!! really is it that bad...and then why stop fighting when the light is on.... it didnt turn on when the prisoners were getting the asses whipped and pissed on
This is pretty good movie and I'll give it a 7/10! Firstly this movie is based on a real life Psychological human experimentation called Stanford Prison Experiment and this study was regarded one of the most brutal studies in the field of Psychology. So, I really had high expectations while watching this movie, and this movie quite successfully portrays the feelings that inmates and prison guards went through during the actual experiment.
But what disappointed me was that the actual findings and results of the experiment were not discussed plus many questions were left unanswered, But nevertheless this is movie is good watch to know that how brutal and dangerous nature of humans.
I also recommend this movie to all the Psychology majors out there. Definitely a full on entertaining gory movie.
Great movie!I liked the original one better,but its an ok remake with hollywood settings and all so,worth the watch.7.5/10 cuz i prefer the original,it had a certain sinister claustrophobic feel to it which didnt come through that well in this remake
I was expecting to see a decent movie considering the actors who played in it. It turned out to be not my cup of tea. Too much senseless violence. 3/5 max.
I also had low expectations for this film & was also proven wrong.
Very interesting film, just shows how an average Joe taken from the streets can be changed when his environment changes. It shows the effects on man when given power and the effects of man loosing his power and his human rights, how would you cope? How would you change?
In my opinion 10/10 this is a good phsycology lesson, with a thin line between Reality and Roleplaying as prisoners and prison guardes. Extreamly enjoyed this movie, great movie in my opinion.
WOW!! like someone else said if a movie can move you it was good and this definitely did move me. Ruined my whole day actually it was that good! Got me thinking how could this happen, you lock an animal up and the beast will come out
BETTER BELIEVE I'D SUE THEY ASS OFF!!! i can't believe they just left that boy there....in my opinion this movie was infuriating & i think that makes a great movie if it can move you 10/10
