shot well, but dragged for me. acting ok. just a bit slow, plus i didnt like how they portrayed vampires as cuddly and cute.. poor victim etc.. yawn.. too much in keeping with the kill-fest elite global agenda.. killing people sure aint cuddly or cute.. not in my books.. but they try hard to sell you this concept in the movie.. Im not buying.. so the kill-propaganda didnt work with me.. but reasonably well made movie apart from all that.. lacked something though.. just didnt work for me..
I thought this was an awesome moie...I enjoyed how animalistic she was and it didn't romanticize vampires, it made them the non-sparkling monsters we all know and love.....I'd love to see them make a number 2 follow up to this....
great movie! i thought the two children did a fantastic acting job. not a whole lot of effects, more about the story. but what effects were used, were very good. 4/5
Did`nt find this scary can `t see what people are on about very slow moving film 2 good little actor`s in the making other than take it or leave it was`nt impressed 5/10.
This movie really creeped me out to be honest. I do know why; it's dead children - they really freak me out. The plot was decent but the acting wasn't too great, overall I give it a 3.5/5
Liked it. Worth a look. Not fond of vamp flicks but this one held my attention because it was about more. Spoiler alert in next sentence so if you haven't seen don't read. I wonder if she had him pegged as a replacement from the beginning.
I watched this last night on Netflix, I seen it on here when it first got posted and i tried to watch it a few times and coudln't get interested, maybe it was the quality on here, not sure, don't remember. But anyways I gave it another shot on Netflix and surprisingly I really liked it. Great storyline and great acting, 4/5
i enjoyed this film, but i get the idea that it was only made for fatcat dumb yanks who cant be bothered to read the original 1s subtitles, also they could have improvised on the original 1s story abit, it is exactly the same
this movie was awesome! i don't know how anybody could say this was like any other vamp movie, it was way better then most vampire movies. i haven't seen the original but to me this was original compared to others. its a definite watch. i recommend making time for it.now I'm gonna watch the 1st one.

this was a very good movie but I think this movie was an independent film first I seen this first on the sundance channel or the IFC channel it was good then and its still good now....5 stars

I really liked the original, and I really enjoyed this one as well. There are some small differences in the new one but it is all pretty much exactly the same as the first except for two pretty big things. In the original it was very well lit and you could always see what was happening, but in the new one it is very dark most of the time and harder than hell to see what's happening. Probably the only reason I knew what was happening most times was the fact that I have seen the first one. I recommend waiting until a better quality dvdrip is uploaded and watching it then, otherwise you will be pretty confused.
Another vampire movie ; I can't wait for that emo trend to die! What do we have here, a vampire movie not using adults, or teenagers, but children.... wooooooow, whaaaat aaaa twiiiiiiist. What next... baby vampires? ; pathetic! One good point was that the two child stars in that film are really talented. I miss the good Vampire Diaries movie, but Hollywood should have stop with blood suckers!
Sorry to say this my friend, but YOU will die before the vampire genre does. It was around a very long time before your birth, and will still be around long long after your death. Also, people like to be able to read the comments and decide whether or not they would like to watch the movie based on people's opinions of it after they themselves watched it. If anyone else is like me they would rather not see comments about someone complaining how much they hate vampire movies. Next time, instead of wasting your time and everyone else's time, if you don't like it then don't watch it.
I liked both movies...I watched the original twice, only because I felt let down the first time I watched it, as I was expecting something totally different based on all the hype I kept reading about the original being better, ( & I had only seen the trailers for Let Me In). The second time I watched the movie, since I understood what was going on, I found I really enjoyed the first one! ( even backing up certain scenes to watch them again). The second one is still pretty good, but they ARE missing some vital scenes & details that make the original alolt more captivating, & also gives it more depth. I was waiting for those scenes to happen, & they were skipped entirely...cut out for some reason, so, that said, I still prefer the original. There IS a version that is dubbed in english, so you don't have to read the whole movie, but I can't remeber for sure which one it is. 3/5
I had reservations when this was announced, I loved the original. As time went by and I saw clips and heard the directors take on it I thought maybe just maybe it would be ok. Well I just got done watching and yes it was ok. I thought the casting was great, it stayed pretty true to the original and it was well done, yet there was something missing for me, there was no majic. Maybe its because i saw the original and loved it so much, I really don't know what it is but it just didn't leave me with the same feeling. I can't give it a bad rating for that but I can't rate it as high as I would the original either. I'd say 7/10
I agree...but I think what was missing was how they make the girl look in the second one, in comparison to the first one ( when she's hungery) In the first one, the change is more subtle, yet more beliable, she looks more aged, wild, scared, & desperate, & in the scene where she tells him to be her for awhile, & she shows him what she really looks like, that scene right there gave the whole movie more depth in my opinion.In the remake, they just tried to make her look like a big scary vampire, & left out alot of small, but important details, & it took away from the movie for sure.
I liked this although i wish they'd shown more about the girls life and what she was capable of and it jst ended without me really knowing what was happening at the end
At first I kept thinking I had seen this before but the kid was a blond so I looked it up. Yes...this is the remake of the 2008 Swedish "Let The Right One In". I think this version is just a bit better but not by alot. The story itself is like a 12 year old vampire tweek on the Romeo and Juliet story. Pretty slow though. 2.5/5
