Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teen-aged daughter..
My daughter and I both had a laugh watching this movie, because it kept our attention with all the creatures gathered in one place, The Monster Hotel, where they had a Birthday party for Dracula's 118 year old daughter. When an unexpected guest shows up, there is a connection between the 21 year old human and the girl who can turn into a bat and fly. At first, Dracula will do anything to keep them apart, because he is scared that the monsters will be mad at him and he's right. When they find out he covered up the presence of a human by lying, they are furious until he explains that he made a mistake and they decide to help him. The moral of the story is that Love conquers all and friends should help when it comes to love, because love is very important.
Despite good animation and a nice voice cast (although Adam Sandler sports the worst Bela Lugosi-style Transylvanian accent ever), this film barely has any laughs and is loaded with juvenile humor. It seems that this would have more appeal to those that grew up with classic movie monsters than it would have with kids. ★★
Normally I never watch animations... but for some reason I gave this a try and I was supprised how entertaining and funny it was , so yea.. watch this one people :)
I would recommend this movie if u have nothing to watch,,,, cuality not bad, ages 10 i think. if your drunk you would enjoy this movie, if not, 50/50 chance u wont like it. thank you
The movie was great. I knew I would enjoy it but not this much! Aside from the blurriness (which i'm really not complaining about cause I've seen worse) this was one of the best animations I have seen this year!!!
